Galentine's gift ideas you can make with your Cricut

Valentine's day is not just for celebrating the partner in your life, it's also a chance to celebrate all of the people you love in your life - including your girlies! It's the perfect time to get creative and have a bit of fun, creating items that are personalised and feel extra special.

Here is some Galentine's inspiration that you can make at home with your Cricut machine, and impress all your friends with beautiful keepsake and scrapbook-able items.

Personalised coffee cups

I mean, who doesn't love a coffee cup, even for your non-coffee drinking friends, a personalised mug is a cute gift keepsake to keep on display on the mug tree in your kitchen, or to give to guests when they visit.

You can create a mug in a couple of ways. One way to use permanent waterproof vinyl, designed to withstand hand washing with warm water (which is what I used on my clear coffee mug in the photo) or by using sublimation onto a ceramic mug - this involves a lot more tools and materials, and might not be such a good beginner option.

Personalised jewellery cases

You know those super cute jewellery cases you come across on Etsy, with initials and names on… yes you can make your own! Using a plain little case, you can use heat transfer vinyl to create your perfect gift. I have created one using gold Cricut HTV on a faux velvet green case, and it turned out beautiful.

Bookmarks

Oh, these are a winner. For the Booktok girlies, the secret readers and book fanatics, you can’t go wrong with a personalised bookmark. Clear bookmarks are easy to source from places such as Amazon, such as these ones, and they come as a pack so plenty for all of your girlies. You could do names, flowers, fantasy themed… literally anything! The nice thing is you could put their favourite colour ribbon or charm on the top.

Keychains

Similar to the bookmarks, this is the perfect little gift for everyone - who doesn’t own a set of keys?! Wether you make simple vinyl designs, or even go as far as sublimating images with your friends onto blanks, this is a super cute way to get creative.

Personalised ribbon for wine glasses

A very easy, beginner friendly way of jazzing up your wine glasses and be the impressive host you wish to be! Use simple ribbon, cut names onto HTV vinyl, any colour or pattern and iron them on. Then tie them round the stem of your wine glasses and voila - instagrammable table setting right there.
