5 beginner crafts you can make with your Cricut machine

Have you just opened up your Cricut machine and not sure where to start? It can certainly be a daunting process, especially when there's so many options it can be a little bit overwhelming. I have collated some ideas for you to hopefully give you some inspiration and beginner friendly crafts that are easy and enjoyable.

1) Pantry labels

Do you want to live your Pinterest dreams with your very own pantry labels? Organise your jars, spices and pots with this Cricut craft. Design your labels with simple text on Canva for free today.

2) Notebook Cover

Personalise your very own notebook covers, adding intials, elements such as flowers or hearts, quotes and more. A nice idea is a personalised wedding planning notebook as an engagement gift! A chic planner such as this one, would be perfect with the bride and grooms names popped on the front.

3) Gift Tags

This is the perfect way to practice your skills and knowledge with the Cricut Design Space, using the slicing option to create fun cut outs of elements. This is also a great time to use your drawing function, to write your gift recipients name and who it is from.

4) Custom Water Bottle

With just some permanent vinyl, some transfer tape and a clean bottle, you can personalise it in minutes. Whether you'd like your name, a monogram, or a cute simple design, it's an easy beginner friendly project you can do. Your friends and family will be asking for their own in no time!

5) Stickers

Now this option may not sound very beginner friendly, but it truely is and you can create stickers of anything you like! Just be mindful of copyright, but for personal use you can create your own stickers for your kindle, journals, mirrors and more. You will need a printer accessible for this option, but it's super simple to do using the print then cut feature with your Cricut.
